Delhi: Cheteshwar Pujara, veteran batsman of the Indian Test team, has openly spoken about limited occasions in the cricket of white ball. He admitted that he got the tag of ‘Test Specialist’, due to which he did not get much opportunities in ODI and T20 cricket. He even performed brilliantly in domestic cricket and county cricket.

Pujara, 37, has played only 5 ODIs so far. He said that he does not regret this, but there is a feeling like ‘what if you… ”in the mind. The right -handed batter said in the special program Vikrant Unfiltred,” I am very happy with my journey. ”

He further said, “There is no regrets. But, in some places it seems that things could have happened. I got the tag of a Test cricketer, which is not bad, because I like to play the test. But that tag made a vision and white balls did not get opportunities in cricket.”

Pujara, citing his list A and T20 figures, said that if he had opportunities, he could prove himself in ODI and T20 too. He said, “If you talk to coaches or senior players, everyone says that if someone can play a test, he can also play ODI, because he is a little easy format. I don’t regret it, but if I get a chance, I would play well.”

Significantly, Cheteshwar Pujara’s Test career has been quite excellent. He has scored 7,195 runs in 103 Tests, including 19 centuries.
