Delhi: Former Australian veteran fast bowler Brett Lee has named the names of two great cricketers who would have shocked the whole world with their performance if he had played in all three formats in today’s era. Brett Lee chose these two legendary players while answering the question of a fan on his YouTube channel.
Lee took the name of former Australian veteran fast bowler Dennis Lily at number one. He said, “If Dennis Lily played in all three formats, she would have taken a lot of wickets in world cricket.” Dennis Lily is counted among the best fast bowlers in Australia. He took 355 wickets in 70 Tests and 103 wickets in ODI cricket. Lily was part of the Australian team from 1971 to 1988.
Subsequently, Brett Lee chose West Indies great batsman Vivian Richards. He said, “If Vivian Richards had played in all three formats, he would have created panic in world cricket.” Brett Lee described him as the best cricketer in the world.
Vivian Richards scored 8540 runs in 121 Test matches in his career, with his average of 50.23. At the same time, he scored 6721 runs in 187 matches in ODIs and his average was 47.00. He has a total of 35 centuries in international cricket.
