Delhi: Australia’s experienced player Nathan Lyon has said that his team’s focus is not just on some Indian players, but on the entire team. During a press conference, when he was asked whether players like Virat Kohli or Jasprit Bumrah were being given special attention, Lyon dismissed it and praised the depth of the Indian team.

Nathan Lyon said, “When I look at the Indian team, I see a whole team of stars. Cricket is a team game and to win, good performance of the entire team is necessary. Of course, India has great players like Bumrah, but the team is not limited to just these superstars. The rest of the players are also very talented. We are not focusing on any one player, that is for sure.”
“Every player is respected”
Lion said that his team respects every Indian player. But, this does not mean that they will not compete hard. He said, “We have respect for any Indian player who will take the field on Friday. But this does not mean that we will not fight with full force. We will play our style of cricket and present a tough challenge against this excellent team. India is one of the strongest teams in the world.”
Lyon also said that his team is ready to give its best performance in the pink ball test against India.
