Delhi: The Indian cricket team defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the second and last match of the two-match Test series played at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. With this the hosts won the series 2-0.

Bangladesh had set a target of only 95 runs for India, which Team India achieved by losing 3 wickets in 17.2 overs. Bangladesh’s first innings was reduced to 233 runs, in response to which India declared its first innings at the score of 285/9 and took a lead of 52 runs. In the second innings, the visiting team was bundled out for just 146 runs, due to which India got an easy target.

The hosts had two full sessions to score 95 runs, but the team achieved the target in a single session.
Captain Rohit Sharma failed to play a big innings in this match and Mehdi Hasan became the victim of Miraj on the score of only 8. In the first innings he scored 23 runs in 11 balls. Shubhman Gill was also out on the ball of Mehdi Hasan Miraj and could score only 6 runs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 51 runs, while Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 29*. Rishabh Pant gave victory to the team by hitting the winning four. With this, India won its 18th consecutive Test series at home.
