Delhi: The three -match ODI series between India and England will start from 6 February, the first match will be played in Nagpur. Saqib Mahmood will get a chance
England coach Brandon McCullum has confirmed that the England team will also include Pakistani -origin bowler Saqib Mahmood in this series. Saqib Mahmud had recently performed brilliantly, but still he had to sit on the bench. In the T20 match played in Pune, he took three wickets in his first over, despite this he was not part of the team in the last match of the T20 series played in Mumbai.
McCulam said, “Saqib Mahmood performed brilliantly in the fourth T20 and he will also play in the first ODI.” However, while explaining the reason for excluding Saqib, McCallum said that he wanted fast bowler Mark Wood to play on the surface of Mumbai so that he could pay more attention to his bowling.
