Delhi: India performed brilliantly in the group stage of the Champions Trophy (ICC Champions Trophy 2025) and topped Group A while being invincible. Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, defeated New Zealand by 44 runs in their last group match. However, both teams have already reached the semi -finals.
In this match, Indian spinner Varun Chakraborty made his debut in the Champions Trophy and took five wickets while performing brilliantly. Chasing a target of 250 runs, New Zealand was all out for 205 runs in 45.3 overs. Kane Williamson (81) scored the most run for New Zealand.
