Bangladesh women’s team, which set out to chase a small target, had a very bad start. Opener Mosammat Eva returned to the pavilion without opening the account. The entire team collapsed for just 76 runs. From Bangladesh, only Fahmida Choya (18 runs) and Zuaria Firdous (22 runs) were successful in touching double figures. After losing the first four wickets for 55 runs, Bangladesh’s batting collapsed like a house of cards.

Ayushi Shukla bowled brilliantly for India and took three wickets in 3.3 overs. Apart from them, Purunika Sisodia and Sonam Yadav also bowled effectively and took 2 wickets each. Indian bowlers did not give any opportunity to Bangladesh batsmen to play big shots, due to which the entire team was reduced to 76 runs.
