Harmanpreet Kaur’s big statement – ‘We have to start afresh’
After winning the third ODI, captain Harmanpreet Kaur made a big statement about the team’s preparation and future plans. He said, “Every match and every situation is different. Today’s circumstances were completely different, the pitch, weather and atmosphere were all new. Although the situation will be different on the home ground, when you win, your mindset becomes positive, and these things keep the team in good position.”
He further said, “Even though we are full of confidence by winning this series, but when we return home, we will have to start afresh. Our team is working hard for the last several years, and now its effect is starting to appear in the results. I am happy that the players are coming forward and playing with positive thinking.”
The next fire test will be against Australia
After the success of the England tour, now the next challenge of the Indian women’s team is the three -match domestic ODI series against Australia, which will be played in September. This series is considered very important for the preparation of the World Cup.
The first match of this series will be played on 14 September, the second on 17 September and the third on 20 September. The first two matches will be held at Mullanpur Stadium in Punjab, while the final match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
