Delhi: Former and current players of the Indian cricket team expressed grief over the terrorist attack on tourists on Tuesday in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In such a situation, former batsman Yuvraj Singh wrote on his official social media handle that he is in ‘deep’ sorrow after hearing the news of this incident.
Yuvraj wrote on X, “The attack on tourists in Pahalgam is deeply saddened. The victims and their families get power, this is a prayer. Let us all unite and stand with humanity and hope.”
Former all -rounder Irfan Pathan and veteran opener Virender Sehwag also responded to this horrific incident.
Irfan wrote, “Every time, when an innocent dies, humanity loses. In Kashmir, the heart is broken after seeing and hearing what happened. I was present there a few days ago, this pain feels very close.”
Sehwag posted on X, “The news of the condemnable terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam was very sad, who have lost their loved ones, heartburn for them. Prayers for the injured.”
Indian team vice -captain Shubman Gill and wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul also posted on X and prayed for the families of the victims.
KL Rahul wrote, “I am heartbroken by the news of the terrorist attack in Kashmir. I have condolences with the families of the victims. Prayer for peace and power.”
Shubman Gill said, “The news of the attack in Pahalgam is heartbreaking. My prayers are with the victims and their families. Such violence has no place in our country.”
Indian team head coach Gautam Gambhir shared on X, “Prayer for the families of the dead, who are responsible for this will be punished. India will give a befitting reply.”
Let us know that the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police have started a search operation to catch the culprits of the attack in Bisran area of Pahalgam, Anantnag. Delhi Police has also been instructed to keep strict monitoring at tourist places and other important places.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt and other officials at Palam Airport soon after returning from Saudi Arabia and took information on the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
PM Modi decided to leave his two -day state tour of Saudi Arabia and return to Delhi, so that the situation could be reviewed after this attack. He visited the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
