Delhi: This year, Mohammad Siraj is going to start his journey with a new team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). After playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for a long time, he will now be part of the Gujarat Titans (GT). This will be a new experience for Siraj, who has been an important bowler since 2018 for RCB, where he will have to separate from his old team and mold in a new environment.
Recalling the time spent with RCB, Siraj admitted that Virat Kohli has contributed a lot in his career. Kohli’s support was very important, especially for him in the initial difficult period.
Siraj said in a conversation with ANI, “To be honest, Virat Kohli has a big hand in my career. He supported me in my bad time (2018 and 2019). He also retained me in the team and after that my performance got better. It was a very emotional moment for me to leave RCB. Now we have to see how I will feel when I play against RCB.

An era came to an end with leaving RCB, as Siraj was the third highest wicket -taking bowler of the team. He has troubled the biggest batsmen with his fast speed and swing gambling. However, despite continuous performance, he could not fulfill the dream of winning the IPL Trophy with RCB.
For IPL 2025, Gujarat Titans included Siraj in their team in Rs 12.25 crore. Now it will be interesting to see how effective his ‘Mia Magic’ proves to be for GT.
