Delhi: Easemytrip has withdrawn its support a few hours before the semi -final match between India and Pakistan in the World Championship of Legends 2025. Easemytrip founder Nishant Pitti gave this information by issuing a statement on social media platform x.
“Country first, business later”
Nishant Pitti wrote in his post, “We congratulate Team India for reaching the semi -finals. You have made the country proud. But the semi -finals against Pakistan are not just another match. Terrorism and cricket cannot run together. Easemytrip stands with India and we cannot support any event that tries to normalize a country that encourages terrorism.”

Shikhar Dhawan’s strict answer
During a group stage match against England on July 27, an audience asked Shikhar Dhawan if he would play in the semi -finals against Pakistan. Dhawan got angry at this question and said, “Brother, this question should not have been asked here. If I do not play the first match, I will not play still.”
India reached the semi -finals after defeating West Indies
India won their last group match against the West Indies and made it to the semi -finals. He was supposed to win this match in 14.1 overs, but the team achieved the target in just 13.2 overs thanks to Stuart Binny’s bang 50 runs. This was India’s first win in the tournament.
