Delhi: The Indian cricket team has left for Dubai to participate in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 (ICC Champions Trophy 2025). The tournament will start from February 19, and Team India will launch its campaign against Bangladesh on 20 February. The Indian team flew from Mumbai on Saturday with the intention of winning the title.
Star players seen at the airport
The players leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai included Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakraborty. Apart from these, Shreyas Iyer, Akshar Patel, Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh also left for Dubai with the team. Captain Rohit Sharma also became a part of this journey, while Hardik Pandya in the last joined the team.
The coaching staff along with the team also left, including head coach Gautam Gambhir, fielding coach T Dilip, bowling coach Morne Morkel and assistant coach Ryan Ten Doshet.

In the recently concluded ODI series against England, the Indian team performed brilliantly and made a clean sweep 3–0. Now it has to be seen whether Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, succeeds in winning the Champions Trophy for the third time.
