The ICC has confirmed that former Indian bowler Jawagal Srinath and umpire Nitin Menon will be involved in the match as a match official. The match will be played at Lord’s from 11 June.

Nitin Menon has been given the role of the fourth umpire in this match. This will be the first time he will join the World Test Championship final. Prior to this, he has played the role of TV umpire in the T20 World Cup final in 2021.

The rest of the umpiring team also includes big and experienced names. Richard Illingworth of England will be an on-field umpire in the WTC final for the third time.
