Delhi: The Indian women’s team gave a tremendous performance in the third T20 match against the West Indies women’s team at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Thursday, 19 December. Smriti also broke the record of scoring most runs in Women’s T20 International in a calendar year. This year he scored 763 runs in 23 matches at an average of 42.38. Earlier this record was in the name of Sri Lankan captain Chamari Atapattu, who had scored 720 runs in 21 matches this year.

Richa equaled New Zealand’s Sophie Devine and Phoebe Litchfield in this record. Additionally, Richa also made the record of fastest half-century for India in Women’s T20 International.
Indian women’s team made its highest score so far in T20 International by scoring 217/4. Earlier this year, he had scored 201/5 against UAE in Asia Cup.
