Before the IPL auction, Delhi Capitals has released the star wicketkeeper from the team.
Preparations for the auction for IPL 2025 are in their final stages these days. More than 1500 players had registered themselves for the tournament, but from tomorrow the auction hammer is going to fall on only 333 players. It is noteworthy that the mega auction for the 18th season of IPL is going to be held on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia.
The 10 teams participating in the tournament will be seen spending heavily on these players. Apart from this, all the teams are going to keep a close eye on the 12 players included in the marquee list with a base price of Rs 2 crore. Teams will be seen putting in all their efforts to buy these players. This marquee list includes big match winners like Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Mitchell Starc, KL Rahul etc.

On the other hand, Indian cricket team’s star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who was included in the marquee list before the auction, has been sold for a huge amount of Rs 33 crore in the mock auction of Jio Cinema. Punjab is looking for a captain
So for your information, let us tell you that Punjab, the runner-up of the 2014 IPL season, has released most of the players from the team. The team has retained only Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh before this mega auction. Punjab has a remaining purse value of Rs 110.5 crore, which is the highest among all the teams.
Apart from this, in the upcoming auction, Punjab will focus more on buying a player who can also captain the team. Accordingly, apart from Rishabh Pant, Punjab management can make a big bid on Shreyas Iyer and Jos Buttler. These three players seem to be most suitable to captain the team.
