Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) veteran fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has given an important statement about his bowling partnership. The 35 -year -old Indian bowler said about his role with Australian Pacer Josh Hazlewood that the responsibilities of the two are almost the same. Bhuvneshwar said that he and Hazlewood bowl in the new ball and in death overs, which helps the team to get wickets in the beginning and stop runs in the last over.
Bhubaneswar said, “We have no fixed role before the match, but usually both of us bowl in new balls and death overs. Our strategy changes according to the circumstances. It depends on how the match starts, how the batting is and what is the field situation.”
He further said that the team’s batting in the current season has been excellent. In such a situation, the responsibility of the bowlers increases even more. He also told that as an experienced bowler, both he and Hazlewood want to take wickets and do well for the team.
