Delhi: Indian Premier League (IPL) has become a matter of concern for Indian spin bowler Yuzvendra Chahal playing for Punjab Kings (PBKS) in 2025. Former Indian spinner Piyush Chawla also spoke of lack of confidence in Chahal’s bowling. He said, “There is a disturbance in Chahal’s line and length in this season. They are not putting googly. If you put the left -hander batsmen out of the off stump, then there is a possibility of taking wickets using googly, but perhaps due to lack of form, he is not trying variation.”
Chahal flopped against SRH
In the match played against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chahal took just one wicket for 56 runs. In that match, Hyderabad achieved a huge target of 246 runs in just 18.3 overs. Due to this, more questions are being raised on Chahal’s bowling.
Better bowling will have to be shown in the upcoming match
Punjab Kings (PBKS) will now take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 15 April. Both teams still have six points. In such a situation, Chahal has a good chance to return to his form and play an important role in winning the team.
