Delhi: Indian veteran batsman Karun Nair believes that Delhi Capitals (DC) is currently in a good position in the points table of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) and if the team plays without pressure in the remaining matches, the hope of reaching the playoffs may be stronger.
Delhi is currently in sixth position in the points table of 10 teams, where it has won 6 out of 10 matches and 4 has lost. Now his next match will be from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), which can set the way for the playoffs for him.
Karun Nair said before the match against SRH, “There is talk of winning the important moments in the match. We have done this well in most of the matches so far, and that is why we are in a good position. But, now it is important that we play openly and do not come under any pressure.”
He further said, “We have recently got a little break, from which we have prepared again. As a team we have focused on the things that we were doing earlier. Now the time is to give our best on the right occasion.”
When he was questioned about the playoff qualification and the strategy of the upcoming matches, Karun Nair said that the team is only paying attention to the things that are under his control.
The right -handed batsman said, “Every time we get on the field, our goal is just to win. We would like to win the match tomorrow and want to keep moving forward in the tournament. The dressing room is just talking about what we can improve and what is in our hands.
