Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar has started batting again after recovering from a finger injury. According to Espncricinfo, he suffered the injury while fielding against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 3 May. Due to injury to the right hand finger, he was advised to wear a splint to stay away from practice for ten days and keep the finger safe.
According to the news of NDTV, two days before the match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), on Thursday evening, Patidar started the practice with light throwdown and then played all the batting shots with full force.
Patidar has so far scored 239 runs in 10 innings this season and his strike rate has been 140.58.
RCB is currently second in the IPL points table. He has won 8 out of 11 matches and he needs to win at least two more to make a place in the playoffs.
