Delhi: Delhi Capitals (DC) star opener KL Rahul scored a brilliant century in an important match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium against Gujarat Titans (GT). Surprisingly, Rahul has become the first right -handed batsman to score a century in 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). Earlier, all four centuries in the season were scored by left -handed batsmen – Ishaan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma, Priyansh Arya and Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
Apart from this, KL Rahul has also become the first batsman to score a century for three different teams in IPL history. He has scored 2 for Punjab Kings, 2 for Lucknow Super Giants and now 1 century for Delhi Capitals. He did this new feat for Delhi on Sunday (May 18).

Significantly, KL Rahul has now joined the special list of batsmen who scored 5 or more centuries in the IPL, in which Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and Jose Butler are already present.
