Delhi: Rajasthan Royals (RR) young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi created history in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He became the youngest player to make an IPL debut at the age of 14. This debut match took place against Lucknow Super Gynts on Saturday, April 19. Vaibhav hit Shardul Thakur a brilliant six off his first ball, which proved what style he is.

Rajasthan Royals lost
However, despite the banging innings of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Rajasthan Royals lost this match against Lucknow Super Gynts. Rajasthan lost by only 2 runs in a close match. Chasing the target of 181 runs, apart from Vaibhav, Yashasvi Jaiswal also scored 74 off 52 balls. But in the end, the team did not reach the target due to the poor performance of the batsmen. Lucknow bowler Aesh Khan defended 9 runs in the last over and won the team.
