Delhi: The 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is being played between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). This match is at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. Chennai decided to bowl by winning the toss before the match. Lucknow, batting first, scored 166 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.
Lsg’s innings
Lucknow did not start well. In the very first over, Aidon Markram returned to the pavilion after scoring just 6 runs. Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad tried to score runs fast, but both were set out after setting. David Miller returned unbeaten without scoring any runs. In the end, Shardul Thakur scored 4 runs off 6 balls.
For Chennai, Mathisha Pathirana took 2 wickets while bowling brilliantly. Ravindra Jadeja also took 2 wickets while bowling tightly. Anshul Kamboj dismissed Puran and gave the team an important break. Khalil Ahmed also got one wicket.
