Delhi: The Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals are face to face in the 36th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. In this match being played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Lucknow captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the Lucknow team scored 180 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. The Rajasthan team could not meet this target and lost the match by 2 runs. It was the fifth win in Lucknow season.
Rajasthan’s innings
The Rajasthan team started chasing the target, it was very good. 14 -year -old young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi made a bang with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who came out to open. Lucknow’s innings started by Mitchell Marsh and Adon Markram, but Marsh could not last long and returned to the pavilion after scoring just 4 runs. After this, Markram played a brilliant innings of 66 runs in 45 balls, which included 5 fours and 3 sixes. Nicholas Puran (11 runs) and captain Rishabh Pant (3 runs) were also dismissed early.
In the middle overs, Ayush Badoni scored fast runs and scored 50 runs off 34 balls. In the final overs, Abdul Samad batted stormy with David Miller (7* run), scoring 30 runs in just 10 balls, which included a four and 4 powerful sixes. Samad scored 27 runs to bowler Sandeep Sharma in the last over of the match. Thanks to his innings, Lucknow scored a fast run in the last overs and took the score to 180.
Rajasthan bowlers performance
Vanindu Hasranga was the most successful bowler from Rajasthan. He took 2 wickets for just 31 runs in 4 overs. At the same time, Sandeep Sharma, Tushar Deshpande and Jofra Archer took one wicket each.
