The mega auction of IPL 2025 has been held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A total of 577 players were shortlisted for this auction. On the first day of the auction, all 10 franchises spent a lot of money and tried to complete their respective squads. However, in this race till now the teams of Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore seem to be lagging behind.
Actually, after the first day of auction, both the teams have only 9 players in their squad. Whereas Gujarat Titans managed to include maximum 14 players in their squad. Let us tell you, for IPL 2025, all the teams have to keep at least 18 players in their squad. Any franchise can keep a maximum of 25 players in the team. After the first day, Royal Challengers Bangalore have the maximum amount of Rs 30.65 crore left. Whereas Mumbai Indians have Rs 26.1 crore and Punjab Kings have Rs 22.50 crore. Whereas Chennai has a purse of Rs 15.5 crore.
