Delhi: Mumbai Indians (MI) included some new players in their squad on the first day of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Trent Boult once again became a part of Mumbai team for Rs 12.5 crore. His base price was Rs 2 crore. On the first day, MI bought only Bolt in a big bid.

Apart from this, MI added Naman Dheer for Rs 5.25 crore, Robin Minz for Rs 65 lakh and Karn Sharma for Rs 50 lakh.
There is a demand for Naman Dheer
A big fight was seen to buy Naman Dheer. Initially the bid between RCB and MI increased to Rs 1 crore. Then DC participated in it and the bid went up to Rs 2 crore. Later RR and PBKS also showed interest in him, but finally MI used their RTM card and included Dhir in the team for Rs 5.25 crore. Dhir scored 140 runs while playing for Mumbai in IPL 2024, in which his average was 23.33 and strike rate was 177.21. He also scored a half-century.
Robin Minz, who was part of Gujarat Titans for Rs 3.6 crore last year, is the first tribal player in the IPL. However, due to a road accident he could not debut in IPL 2024.
