The mega auction for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 24 and 25 November. BCCI had released the list of shortlisted players for the auction a few days ago. During this auction, each franchise will be able to form a team of maximum 25 players and a total of 204 players can be purchased from the auction.
The first test match between India and Australia will also be taking place during the auction. In such a situation, BCCI has changed the timing of the auction after the request of the broadcaster. Actually, the broadcasting rights of India-Australia Test match and IPL auction are with the same channel.
