Delhi: The Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025 Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lost by 42 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The Hyderabad team led by Pat Cummins won the match and performed brilliantly. RCB has already qualified for the playoffs, but it was necessary to win the remaining two matches to make it to the top two in the table. After this defeat, now Bangalore will have to depend on the results of other teams.

First innings game
The biggest innings for the team was played by wicketkeeper batsman Ishaan Kishan, who scored 94 runs in just 48 balls, including 7 fours and 5 sixes. His strike rate was 195.83 and remained unbeaten till the end. Initially, Abhishek Sharma played a stormy innings of 34 runs, while Travis Head also scored 17 runs. Heinrich Klassen also speeded up the team by scoring 24 runs fast. In the end, captain Pat Cummins added 13 runs off 6 balls to reach the score to 231.
RCB bowling faded
This day was quite challenging for RCB bowlers. The team shifted wickets on several occasions, but could not stop the speed of runs. Suyash Sharma was the most expensive bowler, who took 45 runs in 3 overs and took a wicket. Lungi Angidi bowled somewhat economical and one wicket for 51 runs in 4 overs, Chokayay Bhuvneshwar Kumar took one wicket for 43 runs in 4 overs, while Krunal Pandya also got a success.

RCB defeat

Middle order remained unstable

RCB was in a strong position after 15 overs. There were 167 runs for 3 wickets on the scoreboard and the victory looked easy. But everything changed in the 16th over. First, the silver Patidar was runout in the affair to steal the run, then Romio Shepherd was dismissed without opening an account on the next ball.
