Meeting with Karnataka Chief Minister also
Earlier, after the RCB team won the IPL Trophy, the open-bus parade was announced, which was to begin on June 4 at 3:30 pm. The parade was scheduled to end at the prestigious M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where an honor ceremony was planned after the team meeting with Laker Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, starting from Vidhan Saudha. However, a few hours after the announcement, the traffic police of Bengaluru refused to allow the parade citing security and traffic concerns.
Officials revealed that it would be very challenging to manage traffic on a kilometer stomach in the city’s Central Business District (CBD). The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) officials allegedly tried to negotiate a system, but in the interest of the public system, the parade has now been canceled.
