Delhi: The Indian Premier League (IPL 2025), suspended due to military conflict between India and Pakistan, can resume from 16 or 17 May. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Vice President Rajiv Shukla said that the board is currently working on preparing the program and a final decision will be taken soon.

The IPL will start again from the match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 9 May (according to the old program). The remaining matches of the tournament will be played on four venue, in which Delhi and Dharamshala will not get the match hosting.

The big news is also that the final match of the tournament can be held in Ahmedabad due to the possibility of rain in Kolkata. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikiya said that after consultation with franchises, broadcasters and state associations, the start date of the league will be fixed.

Meanwhile, both teams are likely to get one point in the canceled match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC).

Gujarat Titans (GT) topped the points table with 16 points, while Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (Mi) are also some other teams including some other teams in the play-off race.
