Indian young batsman Ishan Kishan has been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 11.25 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Before the auction, Mumbai Indians had released him from the squad. Ishaan’s performance last season was nothing special, he scored 320 runs in 14 matches for the team last season at an average of 22.86 and strike rate of 148.84. He was a part of the Mumbai team from 2018 to 2024.

Mumbai Indians were the first to bid for Ishan Kishan in the mega auction. After this Punjab Kings also entered the field and started bidding. Then there was a fierce battle between Punjab and Delhi Capitals, but after this Sunrisers Hyderabad started bidding and bought Ishan for Rs 11.25 crore.
