Delhi: The 33rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Due to rain, this match was made to 14 overs per innings. Punjab Kings won the toss and decided to bowl first, which proved to be completely correct. Batting first, the RCB team scored 95 runs in 14 overs and now Punjab has a target of 96 runs.

RCB’s batting was very disappointing

Batting first, the RCB team could score only 95 runs in the entire 14 overs and their 9 wickets fell. The team started very poorly. Openers Philip Salt (4) and Virat Kohli (1) returned to the pavilion early. Captain Rajat Patidar scored a crucial 23 runs but he could not last long.

The middle order of the team also disappointed. Liam Livingstone (4), Jitesh Sharma (2), Krunal Pandya (1) and Manoj Bhandage (1) were dismissed cheaply.

The team got some relief from Tim David, who played a brilliant innings of 50 runs off 26 balls and brought the score to a slightly respected position.

Punjab bowlers perform strong performance

In bowling from Punjab Kings, Arshdeep Singh gave a good start with 2 wickets in 3 overs. Marco Janson also took 2 wickets. Yuzvendra Chahal and Harpreet Brar also got 2-2 successes. Zewear Bartlet also got a wicket.

Punjab needs 96 runs

Due to the weak batting of RCB, Punjab Kings now have an easy target of 96 runs. If Punjab’s batting does not stagge, then this match can prove to be one -sided for them.
