Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday announced the program of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The 18th season will start from March 22, with the first match at the Eden Gardens between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The final of the tournament will also be held on this ground on 25 May.

On March 23, one of the biggest matches of IPL will be an exciting clash between Mumbai Indians (Mi) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). A total of 74 matches will be played at 13 places in the entire tournament, including knockout matches. The 70 matches of the league phase will be held from March 22 to May 18, while the playoffs and the finals will be held from 20 to 25 May.

After the match between Bengaluru and Kolkata on 22 March, the first double header of the season will be played on 23 March. In the first match on this day, Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Rajasthan Royals, while in the second match, the teams of Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will be face to face.

In IPL 2025, 10 teams will once again clash for the trophy. This includes Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings.
