Delhi: After replacing Shefali Verma in the Indian women’s team, Pratika Rawal has now become a strong contender to become the opening partner of Smriti Mandhana in the ODI World Cup to be held on domestic soil this year. At the R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo, India defeated host Sri Lanka by 9 wickets, where Pratika was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’. Pratika scored an unbeaten 50 runs in 62 balls with the help of 7 fours and India achieved a target of 148 runs with 56 balls in the rain -affected 39 overs.
Pratika added 54 runs for the first wicket with Smriti Mandhana, after which India won an unbeaten 95 -run partnership with Harleen Deol. This young player of Delhi said that the hard work of years is now bringing color.

Remember that in the seven ODIs played so far since debuting in the domestic series against the West Indies last year, the copy has scored 494 runs at an average of 82.33.
