If Jadeja achieves this feat in the last Test against England, then he will become the fourth player in the world to complete 4000 runs and 300 wickets in Test cricket.
Which players have done this feat till now?
- Kapil Dev: The former captain of India scored 5248 runs in 131 Tests and took 434 wickets.
- Ian Botham: The former England captain scored 5200 runs and took 383 wickets.
- Daniel Vateri: New Zealand veteran spinner scored 4531 runs and took 362 wickets.
Now Jadeja is on the verge of joining this historic club. He has scored 3824 runs so far and his name is already 300 wickets.
