Delhi: Australia’s legendary batsman Steve Smith praised Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. In the first test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Bumrah performed brilliantly and took 8 wickets and led India to a big win by 295 runs. For this excellent performance he was also given the Player of the Match award.

‘Bumrah’s action is different’
Smith described Bumrah’s unique bowling action as challenging. He says that Bumrah’s way of releasing the ball is quite different from other bowlers, which makes his balls difficult to play.
Steve Smith said while talking to Sydney Morning Herald, “His run-up and bowling action is completely different from other bowlers. His ball comes out close to the batsmen, due to which it seems that the ball is coming fast. It is difficult to find rhythm in the first few balls.”
‘Bumrah is an expert in all types of bowling’
The Australian batsman called Bumrah the “perfect package”. He said, “Bumrah can swing the ball both ways, can get seam movement, can reverse swing. He has all kinds of weapons like slower ball, bouncer etc. He is a complete bowler.”
Now India and Australia will face each other in the second test in Adelaide from 6th December. This day-night test match will be played with pink ball.
