Bumrah-Sanjana remembers the days of dating
Bumrah and Sanjana said that they did not always try to keep their relationship secret, but just did not post any post on social media. Sanjana said, “We did not try to hide. Our parents and friends knew. But, we did not beat up.”
Harbhajan Singh said shocked, “I had never thought about Jassi. I come to know about your marriage two days ago. Jatin Sapru says that the bride is going from us. I said- Hey Sanjana, how brother, how brother, so secret.”
Bumrah laughed and replied that since both were associated with cricket, no one was suspicious. He said, “When we met people, people did not even suspect. Once I went to meet, Ajinkya Rahane was together. He felt that he had come for interviews.”
Bumrah proposed in a special way
During the conversation, Bumrah also told how he proposed Sanjana. That era was of Kovid and both were in bio-bay of different teams. Bumrah said, “I had brought a ring in the hope that I might get a chance after the tournament was over. KKR was out. I told the people that please arrange a transfer from one bubble to another.
Sanjana recalled the moment and said, “When I came to the room, I started saying that walk in the balcony. I was thinking that at least give me water. But, keep saying that walk in the balcony.”
Bumrah told that in the balcony, he himself had decorated with candles. That moment was very special for both and his new life started from there.
Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan got married in the year 2021 after dating for almost two years. The wedding took place with simplicity, in which he performed the ritual of ‘Anand Karaj’. His son Angad was born in 2023, which further enhanced his happiness.
