KKR VS RR: KKR won the nail-biting match, RR lost by 1 run

Delhi: The 53rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is being played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). This match is being held at Kolkata’s Home Ground Eden Gardens. In this match, Kolkata has won the toss and decided to bat first. KKR has set a strong target of 207 runs in front of Rajasthan Royals while batting brilliantly. In response, RR’s team managed to score 205 runs in 20 overs and lost the match with 1 run.

Kkr’s innings

KKR, batting first, scored 206 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. In the beginning, Sunil Narayan was dismissed cheaply, but after this Rahmanullah Gurbaz (35) and Ajinkya Rahane (30) shared a good partnership while handling the innings.

After this, young batsman Angkrish Raghuvanshi (44) showed a brilliant game. He made a good balance of restraint and aggression and added important runs to the team. As soon as Raghuvanshi was out, Andre Russell came to the crease and then changed the color of the match. Russell took some time in the beginning, but after the set, he attacked the Rajasthan bowlers fiercely. Especially in the 18th over, he scored more than 20 runs against Mahesh Tikata. Apart from this, he also put big shots on Jofra Archer’s balls. He scored a brilliant 57 runs in 25 balls with the help of 4 fours and 6 sixes.

Rinku Singh also played a sharp innings of 19 runs in 6 balls in the end, but brought KKR to 200 runs. From Rajasthan, Yudhveer Singh, TITI, Ryan Parag and Jofra Archer got 1-1 wickets but their bowlers proved to be expensive today. Especially in the death overs, Rajasthan’s team failed to stop the run.
