Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by a big margin of 80 runs in the 15th match of IPL 2025. Batting first, KKR scored a strong 200/6, in which Venkatesh Iyer (60) and Angkrish Raghuvanshi (50) played the best innings. In response, SRH’s team was reduced to 120 runs in 16.4 overs. Vaibhav Arora (3/29) and Varun Chakraborty (2/22) bowled strongly. This was SRH’s third consecutive defeat, while KKR defeated SRH for the fifth consecutive time. With this victory, KKR made many records in the tournament.
This is SRH’s biggest defeat ever in IPL. In addition, KKR registered the fifth consecutive win against SRH, making them among the most winning teams against this team.
