Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) performed brilliantly in IPL 2025 and defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 80 runs. After a major victory against SRH, KKR’s mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty told what the team learned from the defeat and how he made a comeback, he said, “The last two days were very difficult for us. According to Chakraborty, this victory is like a new beginning for the team. He said, “Every team in the IPL assesses their game with their first four matches. This victory was a big confidence performance for us. Now we have to continue it even further.”
With this victory of Kolkata, many records were also made. KKR registered a 5th consecutive win against SRH and became the first team to win 20+ against 3 teams in the IPL. Now it has to be seen whether Kolkata is able to retain this form in further matches.
