KL Rahul was the captain of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024.
This is a big question in the minds of fans whether KL Rahul will remain with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2025 or not. After the argument with LSG owner Sanjiya Goenka last season, everyone believes that he would not like to stay with Lucknow this season. In such a situation, many reports are coming out.
Recently, in a report it was claimed that LSG is preparing to release KL Rahul and make Nicholas Pooran the new captain, while there was also a report that KL Rahul may return to RCB. Now the report is coming that KL Rahul himself has not yet decided whether he wants to remain with Lucknow Super Giants or not.
Many reports had come out regarding KL Rahul
According to a report by ESPNcricinfo, KL Rahul recently held a meeting with the owners of LSG, where Rahul was still not able to decide whether he would accept it or not if the franchise wanted to retain him. With less than a week left for the retention list to be announced, reports state that the final decision is yet to be taken.
Earlier, a report in Times of India had said that the analysis done by Langer and Zaheer had concluded that LSG’s chances of victory had reduced due to Rahul staying at the crease for a longer time. That report stated that, as a result, Rahul would not be retained by LSG.
Let us tell you, all the teams have to submit the list of their retained players to BCCI before October 31. Teams will have the opportunity to retain a maximum of 6 players, including 5 capped players and 1 uncapped player. All the fans are currently waiting for the IPL retention list.
