Delhi: Indian cricket team star spinner Kuldeep Yadav believes that he has achieved his rhythm after returning from injury and will try to perform better with every match in the current ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In the match against Pakistan on Sunday, Kuldeep took three wickets while bowling brilliantly in the death overs.

30 -year -old Kuldeep underwent a surgery of sports hernia (a lower abdomen or a waist injury) last year, due to which he stayed away from the ground for more than three months. He said, “It usually takes six months to overcome the injury. I played some matches against England and Bangladesh, which had good rhythm. ” However, he failed to take wickets in the first match against Bangladesh.

Kuldeep further said, “As a bowler you are always looking for a wicket, today when I put the first over, I felt that my rhythm is excellent and I feel comfortable. I think I can bowl better than this. After returning from the injury, I have played three-four matches so far and the more matches I play, the better bowling. ”

He sent Salman Aga, Shaheen Afridi and Nasim Shah to the pavilion against Pakistan. Regarding his strategy, Kuldeep said, “In the first spell, I put more Chinaman balls. Gugli and top spin were also used to maintain diversity. ”

Regarding bowling in the death overs, Kuldeep said, “I am able to become the first choice of the captain to bowl in the last 10 overs. If the bowler has diversity, it becomes difficult for the batsmen to play shots. Fortunately this match was good for me, because the wicket was also slow. “
