Delhi: The second match of the Border-Gavaskar Series 2024-25 is to be played from 6 December. But, the caravan of injuries continues in the Australian camp. After Josh Hazlewood, now star batsman Steve Smith has also got injured.

Marnus Labuschagne injured Smith
According to the report of RevSportz, Steve Smith got injured during the ongoing practice session in Adelaide. Smith’s finger was injured by a throwdown from Labuschagne. The Australian batsman appeared to be in some trouble after being hit by the ball. The physio examined him, after which he had to go out of the nets. Now questions arise whether Smith will be able to play in the second test or not.

Josh Hazlewood is also out of the team
Main fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will also not be able to be a part of the Pink Ball Test against India in Adelaide due to injury. RevSportz also reported that Marnus Labuschagne also suffered an injury during practice. Vettori’s ball hit Labuschagne, due to which there was some fear in the camp. However, the batsman continued practicing shortly after the injury.
By winning the first match by 295 runs, they have taken a 1-0 lead in the series. The second match of the series is to be played in Adelaide from 6 December. This is a pink ball day-night test.
