Lahore Kalandars, captained by Shaheen Shah Afridi, has his third Pakistan Super League i.e. PSL Won the title. This is his third title in the last 4 years. On the night of 25 May, Lahore Kalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators in an exciting match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Kalandars achieved its second biggest successful goal in PSL history and chased the target of 202 runs with one ball remaining.

In the 10 -year history of the tournament, three PSL titles have been won by the Lahore team after Islamabad United. Both these teams have become the most successful team in PSL history. Lahore Kalandars also set a record by achieving a successful target of 202 runs. This is the biggest target achieved by a team in the T20 final.

PSL 2025 Champion Team gets prize money of so much crores

On becoming the champion of PSL 2025, Lahore Kalandars received a reward of 5 lakh US dollars i.e. about Rs 1.25 crore as prize money. At the same time, Quetta Gladiators who suffered defeat in the title match received a reward of 2 lakh US dollars i.e. about one crore 70 lakh rupees. The Player of the Match was Kusal Perera in the final match.

At the same time, Hasan Nawaz of Quetta Gladiators won the Best Best Better of the Tournament, who scored 399 runs in 12 matches. The Best Bowler of the Tournament became Abrar Ahmed, who took 17 wickets in 12 matches.

Talking about the match, Quetta Gladiators batted first and scored 201 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Hasan Nawaz scored 76 and Avishka Fernando scored 29 runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3 and Haris Rauf took 2 wickets. At the same time, Lahore Kalandars won the match by scoring 204 runs with 6 wickets remaining in 19.5 overs. Kusal Perera scored 62 runs.
