Delhi: Mumbai Indians young fast bowler Ashwani Kumar created history in his first IPL match. He did the feat to become the first Indian fast bowler to take four wickets on IPL debut. 23 -year -old Ashwani was included in the playing XI in place of Andhra Pradesh fast bowler Satyanarayan Raju in this match, and he took full advantage of the opportunity.

On the first ball of his first over, he made his best debut by dismissing Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane. Limited experience in domestic cricket, still big achievement
Ashwani Kumar played only four senior T20 matches, two Ranji Trophy matches, and four List-A matches before the IPL. Earlier, he did not take four wickets at any level. His best performance in T20 was 1/19 and 3/37 in List-A, but he performed his career best on IPL debut.
