According to a report by Telecom Asia Sport, Rizwan is very angry with this decision and soon he is going to meet PCB President Mohsin Naqvi on all these issues. It has also been said in the report that if Rizwan is not given enough rights in the team selection, then he can leave the captaincy.
In a press conference of captains about the upcoming season of Pakistan Super League (PSL), when Rizwan was asked questions about the team’s performance, he said, “Everyone knows what is happening. Every person is only responsible for the same thing that is under his control.”
At the same time, on the question of being removed from the captaincy of T20, he said, “I cannot say anything on it. We were not given any information about it nor any opinion was sought. It was his decision and we had to accept it like other decisions.”
