Mumbai Indians ranked fourth in points table with 14 points right now
The 18th season of IPL has been full of ups and downs for Mumbai Indians so far. The team won just one of the first five. But then by winning 6 consecutive matches, the team overturned the whole game.
However, the team’s difficulties have increased after the defeat by 3 wickets in the last match against Gujarat Titans. If the five-time champion is to reach the playoffs, then the last two matches of the league stage round will have to win. He is currently fourth with 14 points in the points table.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians have made a major change in their squad for playoff matches. He has signed Will Jacks, Ryan Ricelton, Corbin Bosch to Johnny Bairstow, Richard Glison and Chaish Asanka.
Jacques, Riclton and Corbin Bosch will not be available for playoffs due to national duty. The BCCI has confirmed that the three players will join the team if Mumbai Indians qualify.

“Mumbai Indians (Mi) has signed Johnny Bairstow, Richard Glison and Charith Asanka in place of Will Jax, Ryan Ricelton and Corbin Bosch, who will leave for their country due to national duty after the last league match of Mi. English wicketkeeper-bowler Johnny Bareso will be replaced by Jacks. Pesar Richard Glison will replace Ryan Ryan Ricelton at a reserve price of INR 1 crore. Charith Asanka will come as a replacement of Corbin Bosch.

IPL 2025 playoffs will be played from May 29. Qualifier-1 on May 29, Eliminator on 30 May and qualifier-2 on 1 June. While the final will be played on 3 June. The BCCI has not yet announced Venue for these matches.
