Delhi: Cricketer -turned -politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has launched his YouTube channel ‘Navjotsidhuofful’, in which he will share things related to his life, cricket career, spirituality, comedy, health, lifestyle and motivation. He has made it clear that there will be no content related to politics on this channel.
Launching the channel in Amritsar, Sidhu said, “This channel will tell the story of my life. My journey of cricket, spirituality, health, comedy, lifestyle and inspiration will be there, but there will be no politics. Whatever I have earned, it has earned it with honesty and hard work, whether it is cricket, whether it is cricket, commentary or a comedy show.”
He said that this will be the first time he shares his life journey in this way. He told, “I have not brought even a single penny home from politics. I have earned everything hard, from cricket, commentary and comedy shows. This channel will show me as a human being, not as a politician.”
Sidhu has also made his new presence on social media. He has launched new pages on many platforms including Instagram, whose tagline is, “The whole world is my family, all human beings are my brothers. It is my religion to share and good happiness.”
Sidhu said, “I started with cricket, then commentary, then comedy and reality shows. Politics gave me satisfaction, but commentary gave happiness.”
On the question asked about politics, Sidhu replied, “The decision to return to politics will take time. Life is what happens when you are making other plans. At the moment, there will be no political content on this YouTube channel. I am doing this for my daughter. My wife is active in politics and will be further.”
He also said, “I have never brought problems in Punjab, but brought a solution. If we have to strengthen Punjab, then we have to rise above greed.”
Navjot Singh Sidhu is currently keeping distance from active politics. He has not been involved in any activity of the Congress party for the last few months and stayed away from campaigning in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
