AUS vs IND: Australia defeated India by 10 wickets in the second test match, leveled the series.
Not only this, on the third day of the match, when Mohammed Siraj came to bat after Nitish Reddy was out, he had a conversation with Travis Head standing at short leg. During this, Head’s voice was captured in the stump mic, in which he was heard saying to Siraj, “Nothing personal mate.”
What did both of them say in their respective statements?
After the end of the second day’s play, Travis Head said, “I told Siraj that it was a good ball, but he misunderstood it. If he wants to behave that way, that’s fine.” This statement of the head attracted a lot of discussion on social media. Thanks to his century, Australia took a strong lead of 157 runs in the first innings.
Responding to Head’s statement, Mohammad Siraj said, “The abuse given by Head was wrong. You can see on TV that I did not say anything to insult him. My celebration was just a way. Head’s claim that he said ‘well bowled’ does not make any sense. What he said in the press conference is wrong.”
On the second day of the Adelaide Test, Siraj clean bowled Travis Head for 140 runs and sent him to the pavilion. After taking the wicket, Siraj gave the send-off to the head in an aggressive manner and indicated to return to the pavilion, due to which the atmosphere on the field got heated, but after the match, both were also seen hugging each other.
