Delhi: Young batsman Sai Sudarshan is very happy after getting a place in the Indian Test team for England tour. He has been included in the Test team for the first time. Sai Sudarshan said on this big occasion, “Playing for the country is a big opportunity for any cricketer. It seems very special and dreams. Every player has a dream to play Test cricket. It is the biggest goal.”
As soon as he got the news of being selected in the team, he spoke to his family on a video call. He said, “I talked to my parents and brother on facetime. I was very happy and happiness was clearly visible on his face. Some of my relatives and close friends are also very happy.”
However, Sai feels that this is just the beginning and they have to do much further. He said, “This is just the beginning. I think there is still a lot to be connected in my story. I am ready for this challenge.”
He further said, “I always think that first one work should be finished and moving towards the other. Now the IPL is the most important. After this, we will get time to prepare for the Test series. We have to be fully prepared for the tour of England.”
Sai Sudarshan is currently playing for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 and is in excellent form. He is one of the most runs scorers this season.
