Delhi: The 42nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Thursday, 24 April at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In this match, Rajasthan Royals are captained by Ryan, because Sanju Samson is currently out of the team due to injury.
What did Ryan Parag say before the match?
After winning the toss, Ryan Parag decided to bowl first. He said that the pitch looks a bit sticky and it can be easy to bat in another inning. Ryan also said that now it depends on the hard work and dedication of his team. He said, “Now it is back on our morality, if we can give our 100 percent, then the results will be cured ourselves.”
Ryan Parag also updated about Sanju Samson’s health and said that he is recovering and is expected to return to the team soon.
Allegations of fixing on Rajasthan Royals
Significantly, RCA convenor Jaideep Bihani has accused Rajasthan Royals of match fixing. However, RR has raised strict objections, calling these allegations baseless. The team said that without proof, such statements only create controversy and this causes not only the image of the team, but also the dignity of BCCI and cricket. BCCI has also dismissed these allegations and described it as a method of cheap popularity before the RCA elections. Rajasthan Royals believe that this dispute has started due to the reduction of the number of tickets.
